I'm impressed by the way your minds work so well together.
As one who worked side by side with my husband on our dairy farm for years, I know how rewarding (and occasionally frustrating) it can be to work day by day with one's spouse :)
We lost our whole front porch in a micro burst once, so I can empathize with the loss of your porch roof.
I've finished Thyme of Death and enjoyed it thoroughly. I have a questio: Do you ever get bored with some of your characters? Is it why, for instance, you started another series based on Beatrix Potter?
Looking forward to more of China and Beatrix.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13027633.post-11198895370008506432008-04-13T05:51:00.000-05:002008-04-13T05:51:00.000-05:00I have really enjoyed the blog tour and reading al...I have really enjoyed the blog tour and reading all about the various books, herbs, places and characters in your books.Lindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02114199768103222510noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13027633.post-33509021999731836712008-04-12T15:43:00.000-05:002008-04-12T15:43:00.000-05:00You are welcome back any time, Susan and Bill. It's nice to get some pointers from a couple who are only murdering imaginary folks and not each other.

Dani
http://blogbooktours.blogspot.comDanihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14471919576687777886noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13027633.post-66038364153511234212008-04-11T11:31:00.000-05:002008-04-11T11:31:00.000-05:00Jinni, sometimes we say we stayed married BECAUSE ...Jinni, sometimes we say we stayed married BECAUSE of the books. Working together was important--sharing all aspects of the work made it "ours," as opposed to "mine" or "yours." While the work itself creates certain strains, it is also healing. That is, it helps to heal strains elsewhere in the relationship. I think partners who are also partners in business might echo this. Building something together is an important part of staying together.

Wow. I didn't intend to go there, but I'm glad I did. The neat thing is that I couldn't tell which one of you was writing when reading the books. I read the Kate/Charles books and really enjoyed them, partly because I have visited many of the places and partly because I like history. The historical characters add so much dimension to the plot. Thanks again for sharing.
