That's because on Tuesday, the powers that be made it possible for the Windows Media Audio (WMA) audiobooks to be downloaded to an iPod, as long as the publisher agreed.
If you have an iPod and a Mac, you can still download audiobooks for free at listennj.com (but not as many).
